Idisma Drios Chardonnay
Idisma Drios means ‘sweetly oaked’, a name that reflects the rich sweetness imparted by the oak barrel to the flavour and aroma of Chardonnay.
After the skin contact maceration, the wine is vinified in new French oak barrels and matures for about 5 months with its fine lees for maximum body and aromatic complexity.
This wine is a rich golden yellow colour.
The distinctively fragrant aroma of tropical fruits has underlying hints of vanilla and honey.
In the mouth the wine is rich, full bodied, beautifully balanced, with a pleasant freshness.
The wine was given its name by the rich sweetness that the oak barrels bestow on the taste and fragrance of the Chardonnay. It is attractive to the eye, with a brilliant yellow-green colouring. The complex bouquet begins with the fragrance of white flowers, subsequently enriched with exotic notes of banana and pineapple. The flavour is balanced, with a pleasant sharpness.

Mikrochori
The vineyards at Mikrochori overlook Mount Pangaion, in antiquity home of the cult of Dionysus and the Orphic mysteries.
The vineyards were planted on carefully chosen south-facing slopes, well protected against late frosts. The soil is mainly sandy-clay, suitable for the cultivation of the Greek and foreign varieties planted and ideal for the development of their characteristics.
