Pieria land, home of the 9 goddesses of Greek mythology
The vineyard is carefully created on the foothills, around the nunnery of Aghios Athanasios. There are records that prove that in ancient times, the most important vineyard of the region of Pieria was located in the same location.
Pieria Eratini winery was created in 2006, in Kolindros – Pieria, in Northern Greece, by veteran oenologists Pavlos Argyropoulos and Andreas Pantos. Kolindros.
The winery cultivates 150 hectares of organic vineyards, on the foothills of mount Olympus. All grapes have been carefully selected, and after long consideration of the terroir for each. These gifted oenologists are using rare and forgotten techniques that are traced all the way to the Byzantine Empire, to produce some globally unique wines, including an orange sweet and an oxidative wine with no added sulfites.
