Limneon

“Limnio the Ancient Greek grape, mentioned by Aristotle and Homer texts, give us today this superb red wine, which ages in oak barrels for about 12 months. Its characteristics involve a deep red colour with spicy scents of pepper and cinnamon. It feels your mouth easily without stiff tannins. An excellent combination with greek traditional dishes and meat.
Organoleptic Analysis: Deep ruby color. Ripe forest fruit aromas on the nose with subtle hints of vanilla, cinnamon, leather and black pepper. Silky mouth feel, with soft tannins and generous aftertaste.n.”

Halkidiki

Mt. Meliton

The vineyards are found at an altitude of 550-700 m on the north-east Olympus slopes, in Prosilia and Tourtoura.
The soil consists mainly of iron-rich schist. The iron in the soil is an important quality factor, since it regulates the water capacity of the soil. The soil is poor in organic substances. Its structure enables the penetration of the roots into the sub-soil, so that the vine does not suffer from lack of moisture during the summer. The sub-soil is sandy-clayey.The cultivation is dry and organic which yields no more than 5-8 tn/ha.
